FAs are mobilized from triglyceride (TG) stores during exercise to supply the working muscle
with energy. Mice deficient for adipose triglyceride lipase (ATGL-ko) exhibit defective
lipolysis and accumulate TG in adipose tissue and muscle, suggesting that ATGL deficiency
